Trump’s Ether Wallet Transfers $2.4 Million in Crypto Assets to Coinbase

An Ether wallet believed to belong to former U.S. President Donald Trump recently transferred millions of dollars in crypto assets earned through the sale of non-homogenized tokens (NFTs) to Coinbase, according to a report by Arkham Intelligence on December 27th.

Arkham noted that Trump’s wallet began transferring his Ether holdings to Coinbase three weeks ago and has transferred 1,075 ETH (worth $2.4 million) to the exchange.Arkham added that Trump’s wallet previously held $4 million at its peak.

Arkham’s live data shows that Trump currently holds $1.39 million in ETH. in addition, he holds $644,000 in MATIC and a number of other crypto tokens totaling $2.22 million. arkham’s data also shows that the wallet had not initiated any transfers to the exchange prior to december.

While Arkham implies that Trump is selling recently transferred holdings, the accompanying transaction records only show deposits to Coinbase. The records do not explicitly show whether he has sold or converted those funds to other assets. Btc mining

Funds may be related to NFT sales

The crypto wallet in question is believed to belong to Trump according to findings by Arkham Intelligence.Arkham asserted in August that the wallet belonged to Trump based on information in a financial statement released that month.

Forbes India also reported separately on Trump’s financial disclosures at the time. The wallet’s balance appears to be derived, at least in part, from Trump’s NFT sales.

The Trump-themed NFT sales were made through a company called NFT International LLC. which the company claims is not Trump-operated. However, Trump has been actively promoting the NFT and hosting events for those who purchase these collectibles. He appears to have received royalties and income from sales, as noted above.
